Disney Cruise Line officially presented the Disney Destiny, its new themed cruise that will celebrate the eternal battle between heroes and villains from the Disney universe. From theatrical shows to immersive restaurants, this ship will offer a unique experience for the whole family.
A modern and spectacular Hercules
One of the main attractions will be the premiere of the show “Disney Hercules”, a modern theatrical adaptation of the classic animated film. The show will combine stage design inspired by Ancient Greece with contemporary elements, pop music, high-fashion costumes, and even a new unreleased song called “Shooting Star”, originally written for the movie.
In addition, large-scale puppets will be used to recreate impressive scenes such as the battle against the hydra, all with state-of-the-art technology at the Walt Disney Theater.
Feast in the savannah with The Lion King
The restaurant Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King will transport passengers to Simba’s world, with virtual landscapes of the African savannah, instrumental music, and an ambiance that stimulates all the senses.
The dishes and drinks will also be themed, including cocktails like “Can You Feel the Rum Tonight?” with mango, and sweet non-alcoholic options for children like “Smily Yet Satisfying”.
Cruella has her own lounge
Villain fans will be able to enjoy De Vil’s Piano Lounge, inspired by Cruella De Vil. This elegant lounge will feature a speckled piano, creative cocktails, and a glamorous atmosphere.
Among the standout drinks is “The Fashionista,” made with tequila infused with strawberry and banana, and a non-alcoholic alternative called “Fearless Sir Galahad,” with a sweet and spicy profile.
A magical corner for Marvel fans
The Sanctum, inspired by Doctor Strange, will be a space full of mystery and magic, with floating books, magical artifacts, and themed drinks like the “Vapors of Valtorr”. This lounge promises to amaze with its interactive effects and its setting based on the Marvel cinematic universe.
Black Panther stars in the Grand Hall
The Grand Hall of Disney Destiny will pay tribute to T’Challa, better known as Black Panther, with a bronze sculpture with silver accents inspired by his vibranium suit. The space will feature 360 lighting that transforms according to the hero or villain present, including a central lamp inspired by the meteorite that brought vibranium to Wakanda.
A magical and complete experience
The Disney Destiny will set sail soon and promises to be one of the most exciting experiences at sea. With cutting-edge entertainment, gastronomy, and technology, this cruise reaffirms Disney’s commitment to innovation and magic.
