Although he admitted not being able to see the performance, he expressed his gratitude and excitement for being able to enjoy the show in another way.
How is Elton John's eye infection going?
In September, Elton John shared on Instagram that he had suffered a serious eye infection while in the south of France. This had limited his vision in one of his eyes. Although he has been receiving treatment and remains positive about his recovery, he acknowledged that the process is extremely slow.
"I am healing, but it will take time before the vision returns to the affected eye," he explained. He also thanked the medical team and his family for their unwavering support during this period.

During the premiere of his documentary Elton John: Never Too Late, he made a humorous comment about his multiple surgical interventions: "I don't have tonsils, adenoids, appendix, prostate, right hip, left knee or right knee. On November 25th, during an interview on Good Morning America, Elton talked about his vision and how this limitation affects his work. "There is hope that everything will be fine, but I am somewhat stuck at the moment. I can't read lyrics or see anything," he confessed.
