Lady Gaga sends a message in Spanish to her fans during a concert in Mexico

Gaga unfolded a Mexican flag, causing an ovation from the approximately 61,000 concert attendees.

There were doubts about whether Lady Gaga’s concert on Saturday night at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City belonged to her The Mayhem Ball tour. Lady Gaga confirmed it with a message to the audience in Spanish.

On a balcony of its impressive set, resembling a neobaroque opera house, Gaga unfolded a Mexican flag, causing an ovation from the approximately 61,000 concert attendees, and took out a piece of paper.

“To all my beautiful little monsters,” she read aloud. “It is an honor for me to be here in your beautiful country performing for you (...) Mexico City holds a special place in my heart because it is where I ended my first stadium tour, the Monster Ball. I will never forget the excitement and passion you shared with me that night as I said goodbye to the most important show of my career. I am proud to share this moment with you again, only this time it’s not the end, but the beginning.”

Gaga acknowledged that it had been 13 years since the last time she performed in the country, but she wished that “you see how hard I have worked on stage tonight to show you how much I admire and respect you. Sincerely, I thank you for choosing to spend the night with me,” she said. Also, she said “te amo” (I love you) several times during her performance, also in Spanish.

Lady Gaga confesses that working on her new album was like “reassembling a broken mirror”

Lady Gaga’s latest album, titled “Mayhem”, was released on March 7, 2025. This is the singer’s seventh studio album, and it is a unique blend of genres and emotions.

In an official statement, the artist described the creative process as “reassembling a broken mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in a new way.”

The album features 14 songs, including the singles Disease and Die With a Smile. Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt were in charge of the executive production of the project, while production was handled by Gaga, Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Gaga explained that this new work is filled with her love for music and is a journey through various genres and styles. “It jumps from one genre to another in an almost corrupt way,” she commented. “And it ends with love, because that is the answer to all the chaos in my life: I find peace with love.”
