Not everything is as it seems: Bad Bunny admits he’s not as “fit” as in the Calvin Klein photos

Bad Bunny opened up and this could break the hearts of many.

When urban artist Bad Bunny was introduced last month as part of the new campaign for the Calvin Klein underwear brand, many of his fans reacted praising the muscular body he showed in the photographs and videos.

However, in an interview published this Thursday with Vogue México, the artist was honest and indicated that he is not usually as strict with his diet to have the toning he presents in the brand’s photos.

Intense preparation for the photos

As he explains, during the months he spent in New York City filming various movies and series, he started training for the Calvin Klein campaign, something that had been offered to him on several occasions, but it wasn’t until this year that it materialized.

“I’m not the type of guy who is fit like in those photos,” expressed Bad Bunny in the interview. “I mean, I get fit when it’s for something – like for wrestling,” he added.

“Bro, I’m not going to lose this belly in a month. I took the risk of saying yes without being ready, and it was tough work. Five days a week, I would wake up early to be on set from six in the morning until six in the evening, then I would try to find an hour or so to work out and eat extremely healthy: a chicken breast, drinking water and supplements, and then to bed. There were days when I would arrive angry, argue and say, ‘I’m not going to work out,’ and I would go to my room and then come out regretting it.”

With the campaign, Bad Bunny joined Kate Moss, Mark Wahlberg (when he was Marky Mark), Michael B. Jordan, and Jeremy Allen White, among other personalities who have participated in campaigns for the underwear brand.

Last month, when the announcement was made, there were thousands of comments praising the urban artist’s athletic figure, who will be performing this summer in a residency of over 30 shows at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot.
