VIDEO: Don Omar expelled a woman from his concert for throwing glasses

The singer pointed to the woman so that the security staff could escort her outside.

Reggaeton artist Don Omar expelled a woman from the audience during one of his concerts in Cancun, Mexico, because the woman was throwing cups at other people who were enjoying the show.

The Puerto Rican singer stopped singing in the middle of the stage, and immediately turned to the woman. Speaking into his microphone, the artist pointed at her and described the action as a “lack of respect.”

“At 47 years old, what you are doing by throwing glasses at people in the front is a lack of respect,” said Don Omar, while pointing at the woman, describing her as wearing a “red shirt with white stripes” so that the security personnel could remove her.

“You yourself, yes, you yourself, the one in the red shirt with white lines. Security, red shirt with white lines. You’re going to have to learn that with the age you have, doing those stupid things, you have to do them at home,” said the singer, as seen in a video broadcast by ‘El Gordo y la Flaca’.

He finished by saying, “Do you remember when I told you it was my turn now? Have a good time, my love, take care of yourself.” The audience continued to applaud. Then, the artist asked, “Should we continue?” to which the crowd cheered and said yes.

Don Omar and his victory against cancer

Don Omar surprised everyone in 2024 when he announced that he had cancer. However, the next day he was already announcing that he had undergone surgery, and later, that he was free of the disease.

Later on, it was known that the operation consisted of extracting the left kidney due to a tumor.

The artist shared in the following days that his experience allowed him to appreciate what is truly important in life, such as God and spirituality.

“I went through it all... From that stage of fear to the stage of peace, when I literally said to God: ‘You know what, I think I have lived everything I want, I believe I have received everything I didn’t deserve... Whatever you say, it will bring me peace, whatever it is’,” the singer expressed in an interview for the ‘El show de Piolín’ program.

He learned how fragile human beings are and also how to be grateful: “Today I see life completely differently, I see life as something very fleeting, something very sensitive, very fragile... I no longer leave the house assuming I will return, now I leave the house knowing that maybe I won’t return,” he said.
