Disney will include a Coco float in the new nighttime parade

Here you can have a first look at the float inspired by the Oscar-winning movie.

There are only a few months left until the debut of “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away”, a brand new nighttime parade that will light up the streets of Magic Kingdom park this summer. The entertainment company released the parade poster and a first look at a float inspired by the movie Coco.

The Disney Live Entertainment team has been busy designing and choreographing in Florida, recording music in London, and overseeing the construction of floats throughout the United States.

One of the new floats in “Disney Starlight” will be the Coco float. In a celebration of the Pixar Animation Studios movie, the sounds of mariachi music will announce the arrival of a larger-than-life Pepita, with wings spread over the parade route. Below, Miguel will play his guitar at the foot of a marigold bridge towards the Land of the Dead, with sugar skull fireworks included. This new Coco float is an explosion of color and light. Recently, Disney also included the first Coco musical show in one of the restaurants on the Disney Treasure cruise.

In relation to Disney Live Entertainment, its official poster was also released. The design, which will take its place among iconic artworks under the Main Street train station, captures the creative vision of the parade by showcasing modern stories and family nostalgia.

Other “Disney Starlight” floats

The first float sets the tone for the constellation of Disney dreams kissed by stars, all brought to life thanks to the magic of the Blue Fairy.

Isabela will also make her debut at Magic Kingdom along with her Madrigal family members in the Encanto section of “Disney Starlight.” In true Isabela style, she will swing on floral vines just like she does in the movie.

Main Street will also “give way” to a Moana float, with glowing waves. While Moana takes center stage, Pua, HeiHei, and even a stingray representing Grandma Tala will also be present.

Meanwhile, the “Disney Starlight” princess carriage will feature beloved princes and princesses such as Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming. Royal court dancers willthis princess segment, one of the many references to the classic “Main Street Electrical Parade”.
