The rock singer's private jet collided with another while landing at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona.

On February 10, it was reported that the private plane of the vocalist of Mötley Crüe collided with another private plane that was parked while landing, resulting in one death and several injuries.

Hours after the incident, Vince Neil’s representative, Worrick Robinson, shared a statement on his social networks to explain what happened with the singer’s plane.

In a post that has since been deleted from Mötley Crüe’s social media, they reported that Vince Neil’s girlfriend and a friend were the ones on the plane.

The pilot did not survive the crash, while the co-pilot and the other injured individuals were taken to the nearest hospital. Apparently, the singer’s girlfriend and her friend did not suffer serious injuries.

The spokesperson for the Scottsdale Fire Department, Captain Dave Folio, mentioned in a press conference that five people were involved in the incident. One was declared dead upon arrival.

“The thoughts and prayers of Mr. Neil are with everyone involved, and he is grateful for the vital help of all the first responders who assisted today,” concluded the statement from Vince Neil’s representative.

Likewise, Worrick Robinson commented in the post that they could not provide further details about the accident, as an investigation is being conducted by the authorities.

Later, Kelli Kuester, planning coordinator and spokesperson for Scottsdale Airport shared with the press that the accident was due to “the plane’s left landing gear failed upon landing”.
