Awards galas always have their behind-the-scenes stories, beyond who the winners are. During Sunday night’s Grammy gala, one of the viral moments was the incident involving Beyoncé and her dress.
The 43-year-old artist wore a beautiful and tight custom-made golden dress by Schiaparelli. When Taylor Swift announced her as the winner for 'Best Country Album', she happily stood up from the table. The front part of her neckline went down, but her daughter Blue Ivy quickly alerted her and she was able to adjust it. However, when giving her speech on stage after receiving the statuette, the neckline part went down again, revealing the white wires of her bra cup.
Beyoncé: "Thank God"
Beyoncé said she didn't expect to win a Grammy: "I want to thank God that I can still do what I love after so many years. I want to thank all the incredible country singers who accepted this album that we worked so hard on. I think sometimes the genre is a key word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they are passionate about and to be persistent," she expressed, as seen in People en Español.
He continued: "I would like to thank my beautiful family, all the artists who collaborated... Thank you! This album would not have been the same without you. I would like to thank God again, my fans. I am in shock. So thank you very much for this honor."
Then, they were awarded the Grammy for Album of the Year that night for 'Cowboy Carter', which they received along with their daughter.
A few minutes later, when he accepted the final Album of the Year award of the night for "Cowboy Carter" with his daughter, the white hoop was no longer in sight.
