Netflix released the official trailer for the new documentary series of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle titled “POLO”. The trailer premiered on YouTube and focused on polo players and their lives on and off the field, as explained by Hello Magazine on their website.
The series will have five parts and was produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle through Archewell Productions, and will premiere on December 10th.
POLO: drama docuseries
The new series from the couple will have drama, something that Meghan is a "big fan" of. Referring to her love for the reality show The Real Housewives, she joked that her conversation with Andy Cohen on his podcast Archetypes was her "audition for Real Housewives in Montecito."
A YouTube description reads: "From executive producers, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, comes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced and glamorous world of polo.".
"Throughout five episodes, the documentary series follows elite players from around the world both on and off the field as they compete in the US Open Polo Championship, a high-stakes tournament held in Wellington, Florida. Through fierce rivalries and intense training, viewers will have an unprecedented look at the dedication and skill required to compete at the highest level of the sport."
Close friend of the couple: Nacho Figueras
The streaming platform continued: "From a young player pushed to the limit by his demanding father, to a former golfer who has made significant sacrifices for the love of the sport, to the father-son duo widely considered as the best players of all time, all face intense personal and professional challenges as they compete for the coveted title."
Prince Harry's close friend, Nacho Figueras, stars in the show. Nacho is an Argentine polo player and they have been very good friends since 2007.
