The successful ‘western-style’ series, Yellowstone, is about to end after six years and five seasons. To go out with a bang, Paramount’s production has already released the epic trailer where, despite the reported absence of Kevin Costner, the presence of his character, John Dutton, has been highlighted.
The latest season of Taylor Sheridan's series premieres amidst the great commotion and uncertainty caused by the announcement of the prestigious actor's departure, who is trying to make a comeback in Hollywood after failing with 'Horizon', whose appearance in this new trailer has raised doubts.
Is Kevin Costner returning to Yellowstone?
The show is currently starring Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, who are rumored to be in talks for a possible season 6 if the audience numbers are good for this supposed finale. However, John, Costner's character, stands out in the trailer. Nevertheless, the images of the famous star belong to previous episodes.
Through his social media, Costner bid farewell to the series of his life with an emotional message: "Hello everyone. I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half working on Horizon, and doing everything that has required, and thinking about Yellowstone, that beloved series that I adore and I know you also love, I realized that I won't be able to continue with Season 5, nor in the future," he said. "It was a project that truly changed me. I loved it and I know you did too. I just wanted to let you know that I won't be returning. I love the relationship we've been able to build over the years, and we'll see each other at the movies," he said when announcing he wasn't continuing.
The second half of season 5 will premiere on SkyShowtime on November 14th and will consist of a total of six episodes, which will be released weekly and will conclude the adventures of the unique Dutton ranch on television.
