However, this has not spared the 20-year-old young man from being a victim of the heavy pranks that his father and other experienced basketball players traditionally play on rookies.
In a video he shared on his social media this Tuesday, LeBron James showed how he pranked his son. With a mischievous smile for the practical joke, he filled the car with cereal, and when he noticed his son approaching, he ran off to hide.
A hidden camera recorded when Bronny opened the car door. A mountain of cereal came out from inside the vehicle; meanwhile, his father drove by in another car and smilingly told him not to be late for practice.
"Are you not too old for this?" Bronny said with an annoyed expression, before dialing his phone and leaving, maybe to see how the training was going.
The video of 'The King's' heavy prank on his son is part of a Nike advertising campaign, the brand that dresses them both. Within an hour of its publication, the recording surpassed six million views on LeBron's Instagram account.

The two entered the game together with four minutes to play in the second quarter, which sparked a huge ovation from the local fans, aware of the unprecedented event. LeBron had already started the game and played 13 minutes before joining his 20-year-old son to make history.
Bronny James has been part of the Lakers since June after averaging 4.8 points per game in his season at USC in college basketball. He is wearing number 9.
