A friend of Betsy Arakawa, wife of actor Gene Hackman, shared that she had told him months before she died that on two occasions an unknown man had been following her.

The New York Post reported that according to images from Fox News Digital, the individual, who was the pianist’s stylist, mentioned that she seemed worried when she told him about what happened.

The woman told him that she felt pursued on different occasions by the strange man, both situations were last December. She emphasized that she had never seen him before.
“She mentioned to me that there was a man who had parked outside her door and had followed them… It happened on two separate occasions. One time was when they went to White Rock, they went and had lunch there, and the guy followed them all the way to the gated community, followed them to White Rock,” said Gene Hackman’s wife’s friend.
The man, who identified himself as Christopher, shared his testimony with the police. “She said, ‘Christopher, I was surprised that security didn’t know how he got there... because when we left, I realized that this car had followed us from the residence to White Rock.‘”

Betsy told her stylist that the man took out a folder of photos of her husband and wanted her to sign them.
“We were sitting here and I said, ‘That is so weird because Santa Feats is not a place for paparazzi,‘” Betsy’s friend explained; he also mentioned that according to what she herself shared with him, she demanded respect from the stranger."
On another occasion, the same stranger followed them to a different place and offered Hackman a bottle of wine, but they refused to accept it.
His friend advised him on several occasions not to approach the man. Everyone was terrified of the idea of being followed while driving, because they were the ones driving their vehicle.
