Additionally, he recalled the actor’s initial support for President Joe Biden during the elections and how he later withdrew that support, according to him, on orders from the Obama team. Clooney’s interview was in the context of promoting the theatrical version of his movie “Good Night, and Good Luck”, which addresses the figure of journalist Edward Murrow and his confrontation with Senator Joseph McCarthy during the “witch hunt” in the 1950s.
