Aleska Génesis, a Venezuelan model and influencer, is going through a tough time after being the fifth eliminated from La Casa de los Famosos All Stars. The model was recently arrested by the General Prosecutor’s Office of Mexico City, accused of theft.
This arrest is not the first one she has faced, as in early 2024, she had been detained upon arriving in Mexico, before entering the reality show, due to a migration alert.
What happened with the arrest of Aleska Génesis?
According to the reporter Carlos Jiménez, Aleska’s arrest is related to her involvement in a high-end watch robbery, which were allegedly later sold in Miami. According to the journalist, the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office and the State of Mexico Prosecutor’s Office worked together to apprehend her, in a process supported by an arrest warrant. Videos circulating on social media show the model crying after her capture.
The defense of the family
After Aleska’s arrest, her sister, Michell Roxana, spoke out on social media and defended the model, labeling the case as a “farce.” Michell insisted that there is no evidence against her sister and that everything is a web of lies orchestrated by businessman Francisco Javier Rodríguez Borgio.
“All of this is a farce. Today I am making the truth public. There is no crime, there is no real evidence against us, only lies fabricated by Francisco Javier Rodríguez Borgio," Michell stated on her social media. In her message, she also claimed that Aleska’s arrest was carried out without a warrant, which, according to her, demonstrates that the process is illegal and manipulated. She also revealed that Borgio sent her threatening messages, confirming that this move was premeditated. According to Michell, the media has been bought to spread lies and conceal the truth."
