The case against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has implicated new figures. NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. and well-known comedian Druski were mentioned in a new lawsuit for sexual assault against the infamous rap mogul, who is facing over a hundred legal claims.
The lawsuit, which was filed in California on March 7th, but only reported on this Monday by outlets such as E! News and Variety, was filed by Ashley Parham, who claims to have been kidnapped and gang-raped.
How are Odell Beckham Jr. and Druski involved in the lawsuit against Diddy?
According to the document, in February 2018, during a Facetime call between Combs and his associate Shane Pearce, the plaintiff made comments linking the rapper to the murder of Tupac Shakur. Subsequently, in March 2018, Parham was allegedly drugged, kidnapped, and gang-raped in Orinda, California, in an apartment belonging to one of the accused.
It is then where he also mentions other alleged individuals involved, including singer and rapper Jaguar Wright. In an initial version of the complaint, which was filed in October 2024, Parham had not identified Beckham or Druski, but in the new lawsuit he mentions them as alleged attackers.
In response, on his X account, Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, dismissed the accusation as “a fabricated lie” and stated that in 2018 he had no connections to the entertainment industry and was living with his mother, so he considered it “absurd” that his name was included in the lawsuit.
On the other hand, Beckham Jr. also denied any relationship with the case and expressed his outrage through a post on X. “Man, I’ll tell you one thing. This world makes no sense. I am protected by God. He will prevail. I know who I am, I know who you are, keep a cool head. That name will be cleared. It’s a stupid mess,” wrote the American football player.
The lawsuit describes an incident in which Parham was taken to Pearce’s apartment under the pretext of helping him administer cancer medication. According to the complaint, the door was left open, allowing Diddy and other individuals to enter and attack her. At the end of the assault, Parham left the apartment wearing only a large t-shirt and carrying a knife that had been used to threaten her earlier.
Outside the apartment, the report indicates that Diddy and his associates watched her while smoking, which led her to stab Combs in the back. As a result, shots were fired on the scene, allowing her to escape. While fleeing, she encountered a man claiming to be a law enforcement officer, but, according to the report, was actually an associate of Diddy pretending to be one. Parham managed to escape and eventually encountered a sheriff from Contra Costa County, who, according to the report, received an envelope that she believes contained money.
The spokesperson for the Contra Costa County sheriff, Jimmy Lee, confirmed to KTVU that a report about the incident on the mentioned date was received, but after the investigation, it was determined that the accusations were unfounded.
Currently, Combs is awaiting trial in New York on charges of human trafficking and organized crime, which is scheduled to begin on May 5th.
