A pilot revealed that the Mexican singer Luis Miguel owes him millions of Mexican pesos for private flights he made for the artist over two years ago.
This is about Raúl Aldama, who claims that these transfers were requested and coordinated with the singer's team, but, so far, have not been paid.
How much money does Luis Miguel owe this pilot for flying private flights for him?
According to the man's testimony, which was broadcast on the Ventaneando program, Luis Miguel would have a debt of 6.65 million Mexican pesos (approximately 300,000 dollars) for private flights to destinations such as Los Cabos and some cities in Spain, including Madrid.
Aldama claims that the services were provided normally, but the lack of payment has now generated this controversy, which would have started when Luis Miguel's company hired a private flight to Madrid.
At first, it seemed to be a round trip, but once in Spain, the plane remained waiting for over ten days without receiving new instructions. Finally, the aircraft returned to Mexico without passengers.
This situation, along with other transfers made, is part of the debt that Aldama is claiming. The pilot explained that when Luis Miguel was working with a concert production company, they were in charge of managing and paying for his private flights, but when the singer's team took on that responsibility, the payments stopped being made.
Despite the large sum of money owed, Aldama believes that Luis Miguel is not directly responsible for the debt. In his opinion, the problem lies in the management of his team: "I'm almost certain it's not Luis Miguel. I feel it's more his office, some mismanagement," he commented in an interview.
In addition, the pilot mentioned that these flights were conducted with high standards of luxury and comfort, something common in the transfers of high-profile artists like Luis Miguel, as the pilot has also worked with other celebrities, although he did not specify if he has faced similar problems with them. He also emphasized that private flights require clear agreements and timely payments, as operating costs are high, especially for international trips.
