Initially, the 25-year-old influencer revealed that she left Argentina to return to Florida and take care of her pet, Nala, without imagining that it would be the last time she would see Liam alive. "It was our responsibility. We had our dog, and I never, ever, thought something like this could happen," Cassidy told The Sun. The couple, who had been in a relationship for two years, shared the responsibility of taking care of their rescued dog.
Since the tragedy occurred, Kate has tried to cope with her grief in private. She moved out of the house they shared in Florida and returned to New Jersey, seeking refuge near her family and friends.
