Lady Gaga was in charge of closing the concert night of this Thursday at FireAid, the charity event that has brought together several artists to raise funds for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. During her performance, the artist not only delighted the audience with her well-known songs but also surprised attendees by revealing a new unreleased track.

Before singing the song, the artist emphasized: "My friend Michael —my fiancé, my love— and I wrote this song for you," Gaga said when introducing her last song of the night, with her hair in a straight black bob topped with a wide-brimmed black hat. "It's just for tonight. It's just for you. I think we all need many things right now, but I also believe that something we might need is time. Time is a healer."

The introduction coincided with the unexpectedly upbeat song lyrics, whose chorus repeats the verse "All I need is time".

How was Lady Gaga's show at FireAid?

For her first two songs, Gaga channeled her character from the movie A Star Is Born, performing the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit from the film, "Shallow," albeit naturally without her duet partner Bradley Cooper, as well as the standout "Always Remember Us This Way."

According to Billboard, the artist is preparing to release more new music this weekend when she drops a new song from her upcoming album Mayhem, which is set to be released in March.

On the other hand, Gaga is also getting ready for the Grammy Awards this Sunday, where she is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her duet with Bruno Mars "Die With a Smile".

Lady Gaga was one of the dozens of artists who performed at the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on Thursday night to raise funds for aid and rebuilding efforts in communities affected by wildfires.

Those who wish to donate to the Los Angeles wildfire relief funds can visit fireaidla.org. For every donation made during the concert, Connie and Steve Ballmer, owners of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and the Intuit Dome, will match the amount.
