Know the movies that will participate with trailers in the Super Bowl 2025

With February just around the corner, possible movies that we will see trailers for during Super Bowl LIX begin to emerge.

The Super Bowl is an important event that often transcends the sport it focuses on. The mega sports event in the United States provides (an expensive) platform, among other things, for major brands to promote the movies that will be released in the year, thus increasing fans’ hype.

With February just around the corner, the possible movies that we will see trailers for during Super Bowl LIX are starting to emerge, which will take place on Sunday, February 9th, between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

What are the movies that could premiere trailers and previews during the Super Bowl?

First up is Disney, according to information from Deadline. The mouse company has several major releases for this year such as the live-action versions of “Snow White” and “Lilo & Stitch”, as well as Pixar's new film, “Elio”.

As usual, however, it is expected that Disney will focus on the productions of its subsidiary: Marvel Studios. This means that new trailers for "Captain America: Brave New World" and "Thunderbolts" could be seen, scheduled for February 14 and May 2 respectively.

Marvel Studios' big surprise will be the first trailer for the highly anticipated "Fantastic Four: First Steps", set to premiere on July 25th.

In the case of Universal Pictures, the company will focus on two major productions in 2025 with a new trailer for "How to Train Your Dragon" and the first teaser for "Jurassic World: Rebirth," the new film in the franchise, now directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali, among others.

The third company to make an appearance at the Super Bowl 2025 will be Paramount Pictures. For this year, the promotion could be for "Novocaine," the suspense comedy starring Jack Quaid, the new "Smurfs" movie starring Rihanna, and especially for the eighth installment of the action and espionage saga, "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning."

On the other hand, the big absences will be Sony, Netflix, Amazon MGM Studios, and to some extent Warner Bros. Pictures, the latter causing a stir as it was expected to see some 'Superman' material.
