The information was reported by the New York Post amid the anticipation of the decision that the Senate must make to confirm or not President Donald Trump's appointment of Kennedy as Secretary of Health in the United States.

The aforementioned source states that in the sworn statement during her divorce in 2012, Mary Richardson said, "he revisits or invents the facts, and rushes to tell as many people as he can, so that is the version of reality that is distributed in popular minds - classic gaslighting".

However, supposedly, according to the Mother Jones publication, that statement was never read in court. Two months later, Mary committed suicide. The woman had already admitted her alcohol problems and had lost custody of her four children with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The woman not only accused Trump's current nominee of being a "sexual deviant", but also of being a "bad father".

Even though the legal documents were not filed in court, she shared them with her sisters Nan and Martha Richardson.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his difficult divorce from Mary Kennedy

The divorce between Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Mary Kennedy was not easy. After almost 18 years of marriage, they faced off in court over the custody of their children amid accusations between them. One of the issues that came to light was the official's addiction to heroin, something he admitted to having had for 14 years.

Mother Jones reported that Mary accused Robert, currently 71 years old, of recording the conversations they had at her house. "He has been secretly recording phone conversations in my house... He has left his sworn statements, transcripts of surreptitiously recorded phone conversations, and other documents scattered for anyone to see."

A year after Mary J. Kennedy's death, The Post reported that Robert had cheated on her multiple times.
