Daddy Yankee appointed his eldest daughter as the director of his companies

The artist will manage his companies El Cartel Records Inc. and Los Cangris Inc. alongside his daughter Yamilette Ayala.

In the midst of his divorce and legal dispute with Mireddys González, the singer Daddy Yankee appointed his eldest daughter Yamilette Ayala as the director of his companies El Cartel Records Inc. and Los Cangris Inc.

It is worth mentioning, in addition to the divorce from Gonzalez, there is another legal process for the alleged embezzlement of 100 million dollars by her without the artist's consent. She was the one acting as director before Yamilette's appointment.

The news of the appointment of the eldest daughter of the reggaeton artist was reported by People en Español, specifying that it was announced this week in the Puerto Rico Court.

"The motion of the court says: 'Currently, the directors of these entities are Ramón Ayala and Yamilette Ayala, and there is no blockage or tie of any kind between them'."

Carlos Díaz Olivo, Daddy Yankee's lawyer, had already stated that from now on, the singer "enters into control (of both companies) because he previously did not directly handle those matters... The defendants (Mireddys González and her sister) were the president and secretary of the corporation, and as corporate officers, the law imposes an obligation on them to act diligently and be accountable."

Daddy Yankee's ex maintains that she will speak at the right time.

Mireddys González has stated to the media that currently, she cannot speak about her legal case with her ex Daddy Yankee, because she is under a gag order, but she assured that when the right time comes, she will speak.

Mariel Colón Miró, González’s lawyer, who was the legal representative of ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán and his wife, denied that González had stolen 100 million dollars from the singer’s companies’ accounts. She explained that due to her position as president, she could make such transactions and clarified that what she did was transfer 50 million dollars to her account and another 50 million to the artist’s account.
