The battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively does not calm down. Now, the legal team of actor and director Justin Baldoni has released unseen material from the movie “It Ends with Us” in order to respond to the accusations of sexual harassment by Lively.
At the beginning of this month, the situation escalated following the accusations by the Gossip Girl actress of sexual harassment in the workplace by her co-star, Baldoni, pointing to several incidents that occurred during the filming of the movie.
How are the videos that Justin Baldoni's team released in the case against Blake Lively?
As a result of the controversy, the actor's legal team shared a series of unedited shots of the scene mentioned in the actress's lawsuit, showing the real context of the events.
In her lawsuit, Blake claims that Baldoni sexually harassed her during the filming of "a slow dance scene in which no sound was recorded," Baldoni "leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips from her ear to her neck while saying, 'You smell so good'... When Mrs. Lively objected to this behavior, Mr. Baldoni's response was: 'You don't even attract me'."
However, in the images, Justin can be seen joking and heard saying that he was probably putting a beard on Blake's face, to which she responded that he was probably putting spray tan on her. He replied, "It smells good."
In another part of the clips, Lively and Baldoni dance slowly for a scene in the movie while they talk and mention their respective partners: Ryan Reynolds and Emily Baldoni. In the footage, Lively told Baldoni that she thought it was "more romantic" for them to talk while dancing.
At another moment, the actors hugged and put their heads together, Lively joked saying she felt "curious", referring to the fact that their noses were touching, to which Justin responded: "I know. And my nose is very big." "Yes. I hoped we could fix this issue. It's not too late," Lively told him.
Blake apparently suggested that Justin undergo surgery, telling him to "turn off production" and "use his insurance," which would prove Baldoni's claims that Lively spoke ill of him to be true.
The videos, which last several hours, show more moments of interaction between Baldoni and Lively, who maintained a professional relationship during the filming, contrary to what the actress claims in her lawsuit.
