On the morning of this Thursday, January 16, 2025, the first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 was revealed. All the details of the new console, officially, appeared on the official channels of the Japanese company. There was one element that did not go unnoticed by fans of the gaming industry: a new Mario Kart.
So far, the most recent Mario Kart is 8 Deluxe. This video game includes a DLC that adds eight new worlds to the original ones. Nintendo had stated that it would showcase the console without revealing details of new titles, but the clue that appears in the Switch 2 trailer is not something we've seen in the racing game.
“Mario Kart; Mario Bros Circuit” can be seen in the gameplay images of the new Nintendo Switch 2. As the trailer continues, a track resembling a desert can be seen, which are elements not directly related to Mario Bros from what we know of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
In addition, the race cars of some characters are also completely different from what we have seen in previous "Mario Kart" games.
Nintendo has not officially confirmed it, but what the images show is clearly a new Mario Kart video game, which will likely be presented in the upcoming Nintendo Direct, on April 2 of this year.
