Is there a dedication for Kendall Jenner?
During an interview on El Vacilón de la Mañana, the Puerto Rican singer was questioned about his relationship with the supermodel, with whom he broke up in December 2023 after less than a year together. The breakup triggered a wave of speculations about Bad Bunny's feelings towards Kendall and, specifically, whether some of his songs reflect that experience.
One of the collaborators of the program, broadcasted by La Mega 97.9 FM in New York, did not hesitate to ask him directly if the song "El Club" was inspired by the famous model. Bad Bunny's reaction was evasive, but full of humor.
"Oh my mother!... Hail Mary!... Who is this devil that is not even here?... Turn off his microphone, come down here if you want, because you are over there," answered the singer, without confirming or denying if the song was directed at Kendall Jenner.
Did Kendall Jenner break your heart?
Following the question about The Club, the inevitable doubt arose about whether the breakup with Kendall Jenner had left any wounds in Bad Bunny's heart. The reggaeton artist quickly clarified his stance on the topic of heartbreak, making it clear that he has experienced many breakups in his life.
“I have had my heart broken many times in life, and I have broken hearts as well, this happens to everyone (...) I believe that everyone has experienced heartbreak, everyone has gone through heartache, and I have always liked writing about that, about love, about heartache,” explained Bad Bunny, reflecting on his personal connection to the heartbreak songs he has composed.
The singer added that, for him, music has been a way to heal the emotional wounds that arise from those experiences. However, he avoided confirming whether "El Club" or any other song from the album was written specifically with Kendall Jenner in mind.
