Hollywood actress Dalyce Curry's death confirmed in Los Angeles fires.

The famous 95-year-old actress was trapped in her house, which was destroyed by the fire.

After several disappearances, the famous actress Dalyce Curry, 95, joined the number of people who died in the Los Angeles fires this Tuesday. The death of the Hollywood star, who rose to fame for her performances in ‘The Blue Brothers’ and ‘The 10 Commandments’, was confirmed by her family through a statement.

“With great sorrow, I share that the search for Momma D has come to an end, as her remains were found in her home. We are devastated and it is difficult to comprehend how her life came to this end. Momma D was an extraordinary woman. She radiated positivity, showed grace, lived as an example of strength, resilience, and kindness. Her story is one of breaking barriers, overcoming challenges, and spreading love wherever she went,” her loved ones notified.

Dalyce in Eaton was trapped in her residence, which was destroyed by the flames. ABC7 reported that her granddaughter Dalyce Kelley said that at midnight she left her grandmother at her home, after spending the whole day in the hospital. She left her there, as she had to take care of other relatives and thought the fire would not reach the residence. However, emergency services said that the property had been completely consumed by the fire.

The search efforts began on Friday, January 10th. The following day, they located what appeared to be her remains, but they were taken to forensic experts to confirm it was her. Despite this, her relatives held onto hope and continued searching for her in evacuation shelters. This Wednesday, they confirmed the worst: the analyzed remains were those of Dalyce Curry.

“About an hour ago the coroner confirmed that her remains were found on the property. We had a good run. She impacted my life in so many ways. This loss is devastating,” her granddaughter Dalyce Kelley notified in a Facebook post.

Loree Beamer-Wilkinson, another granddaughter of the famous actress, told KABC that “she loved life and at 95 years old she was still very active. She looked beautiful, took good care of herself, was proud of who she was and who she represented, and was an incredible grandmother.”
