Prince William is seeking to increase his control and power within the British monarchy following his father’s treatment

Reports reveal that the future king would be making decisions about the Crown.

Since it was announced that King Charles III has an undisclosed type of cancer, his royal duties have decreased, but those of his son and heir, Prince William, have increased.

According to a report, the Prince of Wales, 42 years old, is "taking over" the power wielded by his father as he approaches the throne.

Important decisions for Prince William

The prince, first in line to the throne, would be making important decisions that should be made by the king, and this could be crucial for his future. Supposedly, William would have made the decision to declare that his brother, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, are unwelcome persons. The same goes for his uncle, Prince Andrew.

InTouch reports that “it is no secret that anyone who opposes him will quickly be shown the door,” said a Palace source to the outlet. “He is not willing to accept any nonsense and is said to be on his way to becoming the toughest ruler the family has ever seen.”

While other sources assured the media that William "has never been more influential" and that he is not afraid to "make decisions that he believes will benefit the Crown in the long term."

The British king left his son in charge.

King Carlos continues to receive his cancer treatment and is also "giving more responsibility to [William] and apparently recognizes that 'his time to rule will come sooner rather than later,'" the source adds.

In recent years, the public image of Prince William has increased due to the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from royal life, the death of Queen Elizabeth, the now-overcome illness of Princess Kate, and now the cancer of King Charles III.

The source also added that William would be cutting excessive expenses: “The days of wasteful spending and excessive consumption are ending now that William is in charge.”
