Angelo Massagli and Caitlin Hale, who met at the age of 10 while working on the 2003 movie “School of Rock”, have sealed their love story with a memorable wedding 22 years after that encounter. In the iconic film, Hale played Marta, a singer in the children’s musical group, while Massagli portrayed Frankie, a member of the band’s security team.
Although there were no signs of a childhood romance at the time, both actors shared an unforgettable experience during filming in New York. Joint activities, such as taking classes on set and enjoying group lunches, created a strong bond among the cast members.

After the movie premiere, the cast stayed in touch through a group chat, but their paths diverged over time. Hale and Massagli left behind the world of entertainment to pursue other careers. Hale, 33, studied Journalism and Public Relations, while Massagli, 32, studied literature and later Law.
Fate brought them together again in 2018, in Florida, when Hale was pursuing a master's degree and Massagli was studying Law at the University of Miami. A casual meal to catch up marked the beginning of a deeper connection. "We thought it was just a friendly meeting, but we kept having dinner together and soon realized there was something more," Massagli commented.
For Hale, the feeling was immediate: "I told a friend that I was sure I would marry him." The couple got engaged in June 2023 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, a place as romantic as it is symbolic for both of them.

In January 2024, they celebrated a luxurious wedding at Park Château Estate & Gardens, New Jersey, decorated with white flowers and candles, reflecting Hale's elegant style. During the reception, they danced to the rhythm of songs that evoked the Studio 54 era and shared emotional moments with members of the "School of Rock" cast.
Angelo and Caitlin, now residents of New Jersey, proved that time and circumstances can turn a simple friendship into a love story worthy of a movie.
