Paris Hilton showed how her beach house in Malibu ended up and social media sympathized with the mother of two. Hilton says in the video that the place was only “reduced to ashes” after the wildfires that have been hitting Los Angeles since January 7th.
The pain is "truly indescribable."
Hilton, as she walked through the $8.4 million mansion, said she felt like "my heart had been shattered into a million pieces."
"I am standing here, in what used to be our house, and the pain is truly indescribable," she wrote on Instagram. "When I first saw the news, I was in total shock, I couldn't process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, I feel like my heart has been shattered into a million pieces 😢💔."
Hilton, who acquired the luxurious house in 2021, claimed that it was "burned to the ground live on television" on Wednesday. He added that the property "was not just a place to live: it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family."
"It was the place where Phoenix's little hands created art that I will treasure forever, where love and life filled every corner. Seeing it reduced to ashes... is devastating, beyond words 💔," continued the heiress.
Although this is not Hilton's official residence, it holds a very special love because it was a place for family vacations.
Lucky to have her children alive
Paris Hilton sympathized with those who also lost everything: "It's not just walls and roofs, it's the memories that made those houses a home. They are the photos, the memories, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives 😭," she added.
Seeing the positive side of the situation, she feels "incredibly fortunate" that her "loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe."
"That is the most important thing and I hold onto that gratitude with all my strength. And I am more than grateful to all the firefighters, rescuers, and volunteers who risk their lives to fight these fires."
