Jamie Lee Curtis recreated the aerobics scene she filmed with John Travolta in “Perfect”

The actress decided to remember one of the most important films throughout her career.

Four decades after the release of the movie Perfect, Jamie Lee Curtis decided to reminisce about one of the most memorable scenes of her career: the famous aerobics routine she starred in alongside John Travolta.

The actress brought back this iconic moment in a funny parody during her appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

This was Jamie Lee Curtis's moment

With a great dose of humor and nostalgia, Curtis recreated the 1985 choreography, this time accompanied by Fallon, who took on the role of Travolta in the recreation. The actress, true to her style, wore a striped leotard very similar to the one she wore in the movie, while Jimmy enthusiastically replicated the movements of the original scene, doing the same hip swaying and characteristic steps.

The sketch was full of comedic moments, like when Fallon took out his phone to record himself making the moves and sent the video, jokingly, to the "sexy" coach played by Curtis.

At another moment in the fun number, Jamie Lee, without missing a beat, took the opportunity to order a pizza while continuing with her exercise routine. Finally, the couple ended their parody enjoying a slice of pizza, accompanied by a glass of champagne, closing the scene with a relaxed and humorous touch.

With this gesture, Curtis not only celebrated the movie that catapulted her to fame, but also showed her ability to combine 80s nostalgia with a hint of current comedy.

The success of Perfect

It is a movie directed by James Bridges, which explores complex themes of loneliness, the search for identity, and obsession with the perfect body in modern society. Starring John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis, the story follows a journalist from a health magazine who becomes involved in the world of exclusive gyms and fitness culture while interviewing an instructor who is also seeking a balance between physical and emotional perfection.
