Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, the popular YouTube content creator, has found himself in controversy after a post he made on X (formerly known as Twitter) about the iconic Breaking Bad house located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The house, which was the home of Walter White in the famous television series, is currently for sale for 4 million dollars. However, MrBeast’s post, which mentioned giving away the house to a fan, sparked a great deal of criticism.
In his post, MrBeast joked saying: "The first person to set up a meth lab in the garage wins the house." Although the tone was clearly humorous, fans' reaction was not as expected. The reference to methamphetamine, a central part of the Breaking Bad plot, was seen as inappropriate and dangerous by many followers. Several social media users expressed their disapproval, labeling the joke as irresponsible and in bad taste.
The post was quickly deleted, but not before critical comments were unleashed. Some fans commented that MrBeast was encouraging his followers to engage in illegal activities, such as creating a meth lab. "You're not clever with the meth lab joke," wrote one fan, while another added, "MrBeast is encouraging people to start a meth lab... this guy has sunk to a new low!" The criticism was particularly strong because the current owners of the house, the Quintana family, have had to take extreme measures, such as putting up a fence around the property, due to constant visits from fans.

Despite the criticism, MrBeast has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. Although he has not deleted his account, he has also not directly addressed the issue, choosing instead to continue responding to other messages. Many believe that the post was a joke that simply went wrong, but the incident has left some questioning the YouTube star's sense of humor.
