Lip reader revealed what Trump said to Obama at Jimmy Carter’s funeral

Lip-reading and body language experts detected camaraderie in both leaders, despite their political differences.

The funeral of former President Jimmy Carter was a meeting point for politicians from different sides in the United States, including the current president-elect Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama. Despite being from historically adversarial parties, they sat next to each other, talked, and even smiled at each other. The moment captured the attention of the general public.

But What did Trump and Obama say to each other? Lip reader Jeremy Freeman revealed to The Mirror his interpretation of what they said to each other. According to the expert, they were talking about a commitment, although it is not clear if it was political or personal.

In a video, Donald Trump is seen leaning in to speak to Obama. "I have withdrawn from that. It's the conditions. Can you imagine?" the Republican said, according to the lip-reading expert. The Democrat nods in agreement.

Trump and Obama, friendly and relaxed

Judi James, an expert in body language, said that the non-verbal communication of both demonstrated that they were relaxed and engaging in "gossip." She indicated that it is evident that the men share values even though they do not agree politically.

“The rather awkward ‘hello’ that passed between Obama and Trump when Obama arrived suggested that the body language between the two men could be as icy as the people in line in front of them, but then Obama unbuttoned his jacket and took his seat, and suddenly, we saw rituals of what seemed like something friendly and relaxed, as the two presidents conversed. Trump's face formed the kind of smile you expect when anticipating empathetic laughter or fun, and their long and lively conversations produced some smiles and laughter,” James explained.

He added that "at one point, Obama lifted the side of his service order to give the impression that they might even have been gossiping and needing a truncated screen. The impression was of a cordial relationship with some shared values, although perhaps not political ones."

Trump was not seen talking to Kamala Harris, who was sitting in front of him and Obama.
