Ben Affleck experienced a shocking and sad moment when he arrived at his bachelor home in Los Angeles, as a large forest fire was engulfing part of the west side.

The 52-year-old actor was photographed driving to his rented home in the Pacific Palisades of Los Angeles, where he lived with his ex Jennifer Lopez.

The actor arrived with a surprised look as he rolled up the window of his car, and everything managed to be photographed despite the smoke from the nearby forest fire.
"Besides destroying several homes in the exclusive neighborhood, the fire also caused the cancellation of multiple Hollywood premieres, including the event for his ex Jennifer's latest movie, Unstoppable," reviews DailyMail on its website.
"Ben is the producer of the movie, along with his best friend Matt Damon, but it is not clear if he was planning to attend the premiere, as he has stayed away from the promotional events of the inspiring sports drama to keep the focus on Jennifer's work on screen," the website adds.

Ben is not the only Hollywood star affected by the forest fire, as in Pacific Palisades, Tom Hanks, Miles Teller, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler, and Jhene Aiko live, among others. In fact, James Woods shared images of the fire on Instagram on Tuesday and announced that he was evacuating.
Around 1,200 acres in the area were destroyed by the fire, and it is a sparsely populated area because only huge mansions surround the hills with their vegetation. Affleck has only lived a short time in that mansion.
His children and the actor live in Beverly Hills, in a huge 6,247 square foot mansion with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Before that, they had been living in the massive 38,000 square foot Georgian mansion that he and Lopez bought for 60 million dollars.
