Post Malone’s great gesture: He gave a single mother working at a bar in Houston a $20,000 tip

This will allow the woman to pay the rent, save, and, most importantly, get closer to her goal of starting her own business.

Christmas Eve 2024 was an unforgettable day for Renee Brown, a waitress at The Railyard in Houston and a single mother to a nine-year-old girl. While working away from her daughter on such a special date, the singer Post Malone, 29, left her a $20,000 tip that transformed her life.

In an interview with Music Mayhem, Brown expressed her gratitude and described how this unexpected act of generosity marked a turning point for her. "I went to work on Christmas Eve feeling so sad because I had to leave my baby to go to work. I had no idea that God would send me a Christmas miracle. This is, without a doubt, the most humble and kind famous person I have ever met. It changed my life and I will always be grateful. Thank you, Austin," she said, referring to the singer's real name, Austin Richard Post.

The woman had to leave her baby on Christmas Eve to go to work.

Malone's generosity will allow Brown to pay the rent, save, and, most importantly, get closer to his goal of starting his own business. "This puts me in a position to go to and from work, catch up on rent, and save a bit. I'm trying to save money to start a business, so I won't have to keep working two jobs and can spend more time with my daughter," he shared.

This act of solidarity occurred one day before Malone made a surprise appearance at the halftime show of the Texans-Ravens game at NRG Stadium in Houston, where he joined Beyoncé to perform their hit "LEVII'S JEANS."

On his social media, Malone thanked Beyoncé for the opportunity: “Thank you @Beyonce for having me in Houston and on your beautiful album. Also, thank you for sharing your talent and art with the world. I love you,” he wrote on X. Post Malone’s gesture in Houston was more than a tip; it was a reminder of the impact that an act of kindness can have in someone’s life. For Renee Brown, it was a true Christmas miracle.
