The divorce between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck is already finalized. However, the actress and singer will keep the engagement ring he gave her before they got married, as the 8.5 carats of the jewel are not to blame for anything, and as the saying goes, ‘what is given, is not taken away’.

The divorce was finalized on January 6, after Jlo requested it in August 2024. Page Six reported that despite the legal split, she will keep the natural green diamond ring given to her by the 'Batman' actor.

The green diamond is flanked by a pair of white trapezoid-shaped diamonds. "A green diamond of that size is incredibly rare and would overshadow the value of your previous engagement ring," explained Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, about the jewel that Ben gave to Jlo in April 2022.
It was rumored that Jennifer Lopez's engagement ring was from the Harry Winston brand and had a value of 2.5 million dollars. However, Fried indicated that the value of the piece would be above $5 million, "it could be worth more than $10 million."
On the platinum band of the ring, Ben Affleck had the phrase “Not going anywhere”. He chose the color because it is the singer’s favorite.
Jennifer Lopez: "It was a gift"
Page Six recalled that shortly after her split with Ben Affleck, a source close to Jennifer Lopez told OK Magazine that the engagement ring "was a gift" and that "just because the relationship didn't work out doesn't mean she has to return it."
“Jennifer is not to blame for keeping him, and clearly Ben doesn't care, he has already done this twice! It's not like he didn't know what he was getting into!”, said the source.
It is unknown whether the actress will sell the garment or keep it.
This is the second engagement ring that Ben gave to JLo, as the first one was given to her in 2002 when they broke up shortly after getting engaged. That diamond ring had 6.10 carats of pink radiant cut from Harry Winston.
