Peacock releases the trailer for ‘Diddy’, a documentary that tells the rise and fall of Sean Combs

Revealing documentary explores the life and controversies of an iconic music figure

The upcoming premiere of the documentary “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy” on Peacock is generating excitement among music and pop culture fans.

This documentary promises to offer an unfiltered look at the life of rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, from his beginnings to his meteoric rise in the music industry, including challenges up to his downfall.

The newly released trailer doesn't skimp on details, featuring testimonials from people close to Combs who reveal their opinions about this music mogul, who is currently facing multiple criminal charges and legal lawsuits.

The documentary's narrative delves into Combs' early years, his evolution over the decades, from being known as Puffy to adopting the name Diddy, and offers a crucial insight into the forces that, according to many, shaped him.

"Combs: The Making of a Bad Boy" promises to show unseen footage and stories from those who know him best, shedding light on his childhood, rise to fame, and recent criminal accusations against him.

Revelations and testimonies

The production will include exclusive images of Diddy at parties, at home, and in the studio, as well as revealing interviews with people close to him, such as his childhood friend, his former bodyguard, and a "Making the Band" winner.

In addition, the singer, songwriter, and producer Al B. Sure!, who was a label mate of Diddy at Uptown Records and was in a relationship with Kim Porter before she started dating Diddy, will also speak out for the first time in the documentary.

Currently, Combs is behind bars, facing charges of criminal association, sex trafficking, and transporting for prostitution. Despite his repeated requests for bail, it has been denied and his trial is scheduled to begin on May 5th.

"Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy" is a co-production of Ample Entertainment, Blink Films, and FGW Productions, with several executive producers involved in the project.
