Travis Kelce led all players in fan voting for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who has increased his popularity due to his romantic relationship with Taylor Swift, received 252,200 fan votes.
Kelce, selected for the Pro Bowl for the tenth time, has accumulated 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Which players followed Travis Kelce in the Pro Bowl voting?
The Detroit Lions' runner, Jahmyr Gibbs (250,082 votes), placed second overall behind Kelce, and ahead of Saquon Barkley from the Eagles.
The rookie QB of the Washington Commanders, Jayden Daniels (242,352), the QB of the Cincinnati Bengals, Joe Burrow (239,526), and the QB of the Lions, Jared Goff (225,858), completed the top five.
The teams from both conferences were also announced.
Nine players from the Baltimore Ravens, including QB Lamar Jackson and RB Derrick Henry, were selected for the Pro Bowl.
Surprisingly, Patrick Mahomes was not selected among the quarterbacks of the American Conference, something that had not happened since he became the starting quarterback of Kansas City in his second season. Josh Allen (Bills), Burrow, and Jackson will be the three quarterbacks of the AFC.
Jayden Daniels from Washington is just the fourth rookie quarterback since 1970 selected for the initial Pro Bowl roster. Raiders' tight end Brock Bowers and Rams' outside linebacker Jared Verse are the other rookies among the 24 first-time players chosen.
Jared Goff from Detroit will be the starting quarterback for the National Conference and Sam Darnold from Minnesota was also included in the team.
Dolphins, Jets, Titans, and Saints are the only teams without selected players.
What is the Pro Bowl?
This is the third year of the Pro Bowl Games after the NFL eliminated its full-contact all-star game and replaced it with skills competitions throughout the week and a flag football game (a competition that will debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics).
The games will take place in Orlando and will conclude with a seven-on-seven flag football game between the AFC and the NFC at Camping World Stadium on February 2nd.
Retired Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks, Peyton and Eli Manning, will return as head coaches for both conferences.
