During a press conference, President Joe Biden made negative comments about Donald Trump when referring to the recently deceased former president and his friend Jimmy Carter. Biden’s remarks did not sit well with conservatives, who did not hesitate to share their opinions on social media.
Carter died on Sunday at 100 years old as the oldest U.S. president in history.

When a journalist asked Biden what Trump should take from Carter's legacy, Biden responded: "Decency."
“Decency, decency, decency,” Biden said. “Can you imagine Jimmy Carter walking alongside someone in need and just keep walking? Can you imagine Jimmy Carter referring to someone by their appearance or way of speaking?”.
Hugh Hewitt, former writer for the Washington Post, was among those who criticized Biden: "Is it 'decent' to have deceived the American public for years about his condition and to do so through complicit and complacent traditional media?" Hewitt wrote in X.
"The biggest cover-up in modern American political history, and also the biggest media scandal, has not yet been officially acknowledged by anyone close to President Biden and by almost all figures in the traditional media. Its sunk costs are enormous, but they will not let them go and will not acknowledge the cover-up or complicity."

While legal analyst Jonathan Turley compared Biden to Carter for not pardoning his son Hunter: "Instead of demonstrating Carter's honesty, Biden lied for years and then pardoned his own son after repeatedly denying he would ever do so during the campaign. He pardoned his son for all the crimes committed over a period of ten years, including potential offenses that many believe involved the president himself in the multimillion-dollar influence-peddling operation," Turley wrote in a thread on X.
"Biden is one of the most INDECENT human beings to have ever been close to the White House," radio host Joe Pagliarulo wrote on X. "He is a trash human being who enriched himself and his family through influence. It is a true irony and hypocrisy to hear him talk about 'decency'."
