Elon Musk insulted Americans by calling them “retarded” and then deleted the post

Rarely, Elon Musk deleted one of his opinions on X, but the community took a screenshot to expose him.

The controversy and Elon Musk go hand in hand. It is one of the most well-known characteristics of the South African-born American magnate. That’s why it’s surprising that, after posting a controversial opinion on his X account, he deleted the post. The CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and Starlink (among many other companies) practically called Americans “mentally retarded” in a comment questioning their abilities for work in technology.

A parody account of X, called Autism Capital, made a post directly targeting the right-wing political faction in the United States, of which Elon Musk is a part. The magnate not only supported Donald Trump's candidacy for the White House, but will also be part of the government that will take office in early 2025.

The aforementioned account states that within the American right, there is a crack with strong and delicate phrases that go against those who advocate for this ideology.

“Basically, the right wing divided into two factions, the tech right and the right right. The tech right says ‘hey, we need people with H-1B visas to do the jobs,’ and the right right says ‘no, they need to hire Americans,’ and the tech right says ‘but you guys are retarded,’ and the right right says ‘well, you don’t train us,’ and the tech right says ‘you can’t outtrain being retarded,’ and while all this was happening, we found out that some people *really* don’t like Indians,” Autism Capital wrote.

Elon Musk completely agreed with this comment and supported it with a message that said the following: "That pretty much sums it up. This was revealing."

Such response did not sit well with his followers, and considering the level of criticism he received, taking into account that he will hold a position in the next United States government, Elon Musk deleted the post, something he has rarely done in his life.
