The entertainment world is in mourning for the sudden death of Hudson Joseph Meek, a talented 16-year-old actor known for his roles in movies like “Baby Driver” and series like “MacGyver”. The young actor passed away after a tragic accident on December 19th in Vestavia Hills, Alabama.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, Hudson fell from a moving vehicle while on the 1900 block of Canyon Road. Despite being transported to UAB Hospital, where he received emergency medical care, the actor succumbed to his injuries two days later, on December 21st.

The news was confirmed through an emotional post on his official Instagram account: "It breaks our hearts to share that Hudson Meek has gone home to be with Jesus tonight. His 16 years on this earth were too short, but he accomplished much and significantly impacted all who knew him."
Hudson Meek began his acting career at the age of six, participating in projects such as "The Santa Con" and standing out in 2017 for his portrayal of the young version of the main character in "Baby Driver," directed by Edgar Wright. More recently, he was part of the series "The School Duel," as well as working on productions scheduled to be released in 2025.
In addition to his artistic career, Hudson was a sophomore student at Vestavia Hills High School and was part of the school's soccer team. His classmates, friends, and family remembered him as a young man full of energy, enthusiasm, and a deep Christian faith that marked his life and his interactions with others.
