Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez will continue to stay “connected” after their divorce

Despite having ended their romantic relationship, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have the firm intention of staying connected and present in each other’s lives. This was confirmed by a source close to the couple in exclusive statements to Page Six, four months after the Hustlers actress filed for divorce from the Batman actor.

"They fully intend to continue being part of each other's lives, even though they are no longer romantically involved," the informant stated. The source added that Affleck and Lopez maintain communication, especially when it comes to their children, highlighting that their connection and mutual respect do not disappear overnight.

The bond between Affleck and López has a long history. The two started dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli and got engaged for the first time in November of that year. However, the relationship ended in January 2004. Almost two decades later, the couple rekindled their romance and got engaged again in 2021. After a wedding in Las Vegas in July 2022 and a larger ceremony in Georgia, their relationship culminated in divorce filed by López in August 2024.

Despite the separation, both have shown that they can maintain cordiality in public. Recently, Affleck, Lopez, and Jennifer Garner - the actor's ex-wife - attended a school play together in Los Angeles to support Seraphina, Affleck and Garner's 15-year-old daughter.
