The defending Super Bowl champions have 10 wins by seven points or less, six of which were on the final play of the game.

Mahomes did not finish the game and left in the last quarter due to an ankle injury after being tackled. Carson Wentz replaced him for the last 5:23 minutes. Mahomes completed 19 of 38 passes for 159 yards.

The Browns (3-11) tried to put up a fight, but they had six turnovers. Other than a 62-yard TD run by Jerome Ford, Cleveland had few offensive highlights and too many self-inflicted errors.

Jameis Winston threw three interceptions—two in the end zone to bring his total to eight in his last three games—and the Browns had two fumbles. The five turnovers made things much easier for Mahomes and the Chiefs, but it's not like they needed much help.

Jerry Jeudy from Cleveland had 11 receptions for 108 yards and surpassed 1,000 for the season.

The noticeable absence was Taylor Swift after finishing her world tour.

The pop superstar was expected to attend the game to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, the Chiefs' tight end, but she was not present despite rumors that she would make an appearance.

The Chiefs host Houston on December 21 before visiting Pittsburgh on Christmas Day, while the Browns play in Cincinnati on Sunday.
