Why would Donald Trump Jr. have started a romance with socialite Bettina Anderson?
A source close to the son of the former magnate and his family spoke to People magazine about the relationship, stating that Trump Jr. had started his romance with Anderson because he believed that she "fit better" with his family.
"Don Jr. has always wanted to look good in his father's eyes," the source told the quoted media outlet. "Someone like Bettina, who is and has been a model, and is in the Palm Beach circles is something that would impress his father," they added.
Through another source, the magazine learned that Don Jr.'s courtship had started at least almost six months ago and even "he took her on a trip to Alaska and introduced her as his girlfriend even while still with Kim (Guilfoyle)".
Anderson is a well-known figure in the social circles of Florida for his involvement in philanthropic initiatives, such as the founding of The Paradise Fund, and for his active social life.
She is also the daughter of Harry Loy Anderson Jr., an influential banker who passed away in 2013. She has also worked as a model and influencer, amassing over 38,000 followers on social media.
Recently, Donald Jr. celebrated his new girlfriend’s 38th birthday with a lavish dinner that included the most expensive champagne, a diamond necklace valued at over 95,300 euros, and a stay at the exclusive Mar-a-Lago club, as reported by HOLA.
