Chaos ensued this past Monday after four planes collided with each other in two separate crashes at Boston Logan Airport, with just a few hours between both incidents.
According to The Mirror, a small plane from Frontier Airlines, which was set to carry passengers to Texas, collided with a jet from American Airlines. The planes were left with broken wings, which forced the pilots to even go to the hospital.
The passengers experienced moments of panic.
A Frontier passenger named Evelyn Pipione spoke about the experience she had during the frightening moment. "It was terrible. It was terrifying. Suddenly, 'bam!'. It sounded like something had fallen from below," she told WCVB.
In a video recorded by another user from one of the flights, you could see the wing of the Frontier aircraft trapped under the wing of the American Airlines plane. "You can see how the wing broke from below," Douglas García, who filmed the video, told the same media outlet.
The Frontier plane was scheduled to arrive at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, while the American Airlines flight had come from Heathrow Airport in London. Both aircraft had to be evacuated of passengers and crew to fully inspect all damages.
Just a few hours later, another crash occurred at the same airport. This time, a JetBlue plane collided with a Cape Air one. The JetBlue aircraft was being towed by a vehicle while the Cape Air plane had just arrived from Nantucket.
The JetBlue plane had no passengers but had two pilots, while there were still three passengers on the Cape Air plane at the time of the crash. However, the media reported that both pilots were taken to the hospital as a precaution and that there were no injuries.
