The fame of Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump, grew abruptly during his father’s presidential campaign in the United States in 2024. From being the smallest in the house and rarely seen in public, he became a key figure for the youth vote.
He is the fifth child of Donald Trump, and although he is the youngest, he is not necessarily the smallest, as at 18 years old, he stands at two meters tall, which made him stand out at all times during his father's campaign events. His height caught the attention of the press, as when the magnate assumed the Presidency in 2017, he was 10 years old. Now he is a young man, studying at the Business School of New York University.
Being a minor, he has always kept a low profile, but his father's new presidential campaign has thrust him into the public eye, where many highlight the striking physical resemblance to his father. The only difference is that he is taller, so much so that the president-elect has joked about him playing basketball, but he has always preferred soccer.
Barron's life has been filled with eccentricities, luxury, and media attention surrounding his family, which in turn has led his mother Melania Trump to keep him out of the public eye since childhood, safeguarding his privacy.
Barron Trump and studies
Barron Trump was born on March 20, 2006 in New York. He is the fifth child of Donald Trump and the only child of Melania Trump. During his childhood, he attended elementary and middle school at Columbia Grammar School on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. He is bilingual, as he speaks English and Slovak, which is his mother's native language.
Tikitakas reported that when his father assumed his first presidential term in 2017, Barron stayed in New York, then studied at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland. After Donald Trump's first term ended, Barron moved with his mother to Palm Beach, Florida. There, he started at a private school and graduated in 2024. Last October, he began studies in business at New York University, following his father's business approach. However, he does not live on the university campus but in the Trump Tower in Midtown, from where he commutes daily to study.
It is said that he was offered a government position, but he turned it down to focus on his university studies. Some blurry photos of him taken by other students on the university campus are circulating on social media.
Barron Trump, a key figure in his father's campaign
The magazine Forbes highlighted the "important role" that Barron Trump played in his father's presidential campaign in 2024 by urging him to "participate in popular podcasts associated with 'bro culture' and 'manosphere' to reach young male voters."
Barron motivated his father to speak with Theo Von and Adin Ross, each with an average of seven million followers on Instagram. They are popular media personalities with around 7 million Instagram followers each. "Von's interview with Trump has around 15 million views on YouTube, while a YouTube upload of Ross' Kick stream with Trump has 2.7 million views," the media outlet said.
Although when he was a minor he was very little visible, in this year's campaign, he accompanied his father in public events. Without a doubt, he was the young face that sealed the victory.
