Elon Musk responded to the imitation done by Saturday Night Live in last night’s episode. This is the first SNL episode after the elections and in the parody, everyone showed their “loyalty” to President Donald Trump.

Dana Carvey, who previously portrayed President Joe Biden, became Elon Musk. The South African entrepreneur consistently supported Trump during his campaign, donated around 120 million dollars, participated in Republican campaign rallies, and even organized a daily one million dollar giveaway for registered voters.

Saturday Night Live mocks Elon Musk
"Look at this, Dark MAGA," said the comedian while impersonating the CEO of Tesla. "But seriously, now I run the country," he added, mocking the South African entrepreneur for his way of speaking, dressing, and acting.
Musk did not like this imitation, so he lashed out against Carvey and SNL on X, which he himself owns.
"SNL has been slowly dying for years, as it drifts further and further from reality," Musk wrote. "Their latest attempt to skirt equal airtime requirements and prop up Kamala before the elections only helped sink their campaign even further." In the latter, Musk refers to Harris allegedly violating FCC rules by not respecting equal airtime after her appearance on the comedy show hours before the elections.
"Dana Carvey just sounds like Dana Carvey. They're so mad because @realDonaldTrump won on @nbcsnl," Musk said in another message.
Musk's style of discrediting SNL actors echoed similar comments made by Donald Trump against the same show and other sketches where he has been impersonated.
Elon Musk appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2021.
In 2021, Musk appeared on SNL. The new episode was hosted by Bill Burr while Carvey made fun of Musk.
"United States is going to be like one of my rockets," Carvey said, as Musk said at a Trump rally. "They are super cool and super fun, but there is a small chance it might explode and everyone dies. Haha! See you at the White House!" he added.
