In the midst of the presidential race in the United States, Jennifer Lopez raised her voice in defense of Puerto Ricans and the entire Latino community after an incident filled with racist comments by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at a Donald Trump rally.
The renowned artist, who has been a constant advocate for the rights of Latinos and women, spoke out strongly against the attacks, emphasizing the importance of unity in times of division.
"He has constantly worked to divide us. At Madison Square Garden, he reminded us of who he really is and how he really feels," expressed Lopez, making clear his position on language and attitudes that seek to separate communities instead of building bridges.

Later, he specifically called on Puerto Ricans to vote for Kamala Harris.
"I am an American woman, I am the daughter of Guadalupe Rodríguez and David López, proud children of Puerto Rico. I am Puerto Rican, I am Boricua damn it, and yes, I was born here and we are Americans," she added.
