LeBron James has just made official which candidate he will support on November 5th to be the president of the United States. Kamala Harris is the ideal candidate for the Lakers’ star athlete. Through social media, James shared the reasons.
This is what LeBron James said regarding the US elections.
“What are we even talking about here??,” he wrote in X. “When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”
In another message, the superstar posted a video along with their message that included a montage of clips with speeches from former President Donald Trump, some of the recent manifestation at Madison Square Garden, and some videos of civil rights protests, which included the text: "Hatred takes us back."
The player is not supporting Harris' candidacy for the first time, as in the 2020 elections he stated his support for Joe Biden-Harris. In addition to James, Steph Curry and Steve Kerr have openly endorsed her as well.
Kerr was present at the Democratic National Convention
Last August, in Chicago, Curry was at the Democratic National Convention and Kerr took the stage to speak: "Man, it was a great honor to represent the United States team and win that gold medal at the Olympics this summer. That unity on and off the court reminded us all that together we can achieve anything and continue to inspire the world," said Curry. "That's why I believe Kamala, as president, can restore that unity and continue to move our country forward."
