A survivor of the Hamas massacre on October 7th shot down one of the attackers in Tel Aviv

In an attack in the Jaffa neighborhood this Tuesday, two terrorists killed seven people.

Lev Kreitman, a survivor of the massacre carried out by Hamas at the Nova music festival during the attacks on October 7, reportedly managed to shoot down one of the perpetrators of the attack at a tram station in the Jaffa neighborhood of Tel Aviv, in which seven people died.

This was confirmed by Israel's Minister of Public Security, the ultranationalist Itamar Ben Gvir, who emphasized that Kreitman was carrying his own weapon, which is why he has stepped forward to praise the legislative reform that he himself promoted to make access to firearms more flexible.

According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, Kreitman is a reservist in the Israeli army.

"Lev Kreitman, an Israeli hero who yesterday neutralized the terrorist in the terrible attack in Jaffa. Lev is also a survivor of the Nova Festival, where he bravely acted under fire and saved many victims," Ben Gvir stated in a post on his official X social media profile.

"Six months ago, he applied for a private gun license after the reform we promoted, in which more than 120,000 people armed themselves with personal weapons. Go and arm yourself, that saves lives," emphasized the Minister of National Security, known for his expansionist and bellicose stances.

How was the attack in Tel Aviv?

The Israeli Police confirmed that at least seven people died as victims of the attack carried out by two armed individuals who entered a tram car in Jaffa, where they opened fire before also shooting in the street. Both attackers were quickly "neutralized".

The attack occurred before nearly 200 missiles launched by Iran reached Israeli territory, including Tel Aviv.

Kreitman, for his part, made statements to the public radio and television KAN in which he acknowledged that he acted against the attackers. “I left home because I didn’t have anything to eat (...) when I left the store I quickly understood that it was an attack and tried to do the best I could,” he explained.
