The shooting, which took place around 7:00 PM (local time), was carried out by two "terrorists" who were later "neutralized" by the police.
How was the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv?
The commander of the Tel Aviv district police, Haim Sergof, detailed that the two attackers boarded the train, where they fired several shots. Later, they got off the train and continued shooting on the street.
"We know that there are no other terrorists in the area," added Sergof, who pointed out that amid the emergency in Tel Aviv, there was a false alarm about a possible terrorist incident at a hotel in Herzliya, about fifteen kilometers away."
On the other hand, the Magen David Adom ambulance service had previously reported a total of seven injured, two of whom were in critical condition, two in serious condition, two in moderate condition, and a seventh had minor injuries.
Netanyahu blames Iran for the attack
Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, during a statement on the attack by Iran, dedicated some words of solidarity to the families of the six deceased and the nine injured.
“As in the missile attack, behind this bombing there is also a murderous and intentional hand. It comes from Tehran,” stated the Israeli leader, thus directly attributing the responsibility for the shooting to the Iranian regime.
