Why does Donald Trump now “hate” Taylor Swift?

The singer recently announced her support for the Democrat Kamala Harris.

Donald Trump continues to comment on Taylor Swift after the singer announced her support for Kamala Harris following the debate on September 10th.

The former president and Republican candidate wrote on Sunday on his Truth Social platform: "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Through an Instagram post, Swift announced her support for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz.

"I will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential elections," and added, "I believe she is a talented and strong leader and I think we can achieve much more in this country if we are guided by calmness and not chaos."

In response to the hateful message from Trump to the 34-year-old singer, Liz Cheney, former congresswoman and opponent of Trump, said on her X account that Trump "is a small man," using a Swift song.

"It's said by the smallest man who ever lived."

Taylor Swift calls for voting

Since the singer announced her political stance, Swift has been making constant calls for people to go out and vote. During her acceptance speech for the Video of the Year award at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in Elmont, New York, she didn't hesitate to send a message to young people.

"If you are over 18 years old, register to vote for something that is very important... the presidential election," he said.

Why the hate towards Taylor Swift?

Before announcing her support, Trump really needed her support. It all started when the former president posted a video, created by Artificial Intelligence, insinuating that Swift would vote for him.

An image showed Swift dressed as Uncle Sam, accompanied by the words: "Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump."

While on his social network Truth Social, Trump posted deepfakes of young women wearing t-shirts with the caption “Swifties for Trump” on his Truth Social account and wrote: “I accept!”.
